FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

WE ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS

Why is my genetic population not included in the analysis?

In order for tellmeGen to include a genetic population in our DNA test, it must pass different quality controls. We must have a large number of individuals from this population, these individuals must be genetically as homogeneous as possible and, at the same time, be sufficiently different from any other population included in our analysis. Once these criteria are met, this new population becomes part of our database and our ancestry DNA test. However, there are populations for which we do not have enough information to meet these criteria, which limits their inclusion in the analysis. As soon as we have the necessary information for their inclusion, these new populations will be incorporated into our study and our users will be notified.
