What is Business-to-Business?
Business-to-Business, often abbreviated as B2B, is a term that refers to commercial transactions between businesses.
It contrasts with the commercial relationship between businesses and/or manufacturers and their end customer, which is referred to as Business-to-Consumer (B2C).
B2B implies that both parties are commercial and that there are more agents involved. However, in B2C, it’s only the seller and the end consumer.
Fun fact: There is a third model, called B2B2C. To be honest, they weren’t very original with the name. It refers to businesses that have the ability to trade with both other businesses and users interchangeably. A mixed model.
A common example is hypermarkets where both companies and individuals can acquire resources.
In its own way, tellmeGen is currently a B2B2C model. What we’ve done is add more facilities to the B2B part.

Among the changes we’ve made are:
- Direct purchase of kits. You can now obtain DNA kits directly, with prices tailored to your professional profile agreed upon with our commercial department.
- Flexibility in user registration. Whether you register them as tellmeGen users or under your own white-label brand, we’ve tailored these processes to your needs. If you’ve chosen to go with a white-label brand, you’ll be able to generate your results report in PDF format and add your custom logo.
- No user limit. You can manage as many accounts as you have and want, without any maximum or cap on the number.
- It’s free. All our updates are always free. This one will be no exception.
The idea is that you can manage both orders and results for your patients autonomously. With this tool, you’ll gain independence from our commercial team.
A time-saving solution in an easy and simple way.
To get your professional account, you just need to select it when creating your account. It’s the third option, alongside the standard user account and Raw Data upload.
